Our aim is simple: if information on BondResult.com is wrong, incomplete, outdated, or misleading, we want to correct it.
For Prize Bond results, this is especially important because one incorrect digit can make a losing number appear to be a winner or a winning number appear to be missing. Draw dates, cities, prize amounts, tax rates, and official-source links also need to be accurate.
Where possible, Prize Bond information is checked against official material from sources such as National Savings Pakistan and the State Bank of Pakistan.
We also use database checks to identify incomplete result records, missing draw information, and winner-count problems.
What We Correct
Corrections may be made when we identify an error in published information or when an official source is updated.

Incorrect government, education, or scheme information
Dates, eligibility conditions, application procedures, result details, or official links may be corrected when better or updated official information becomes available.
We may also improve wording when a sentence is technically correct but could confuse readers.
How Corrections Are Made
When a possible error is found, we first try to identify the relevant source and determine whether the published information is actually wrong.
For Prize Bond results, the review may include checking:

draw date

expected winner counts

Major vs Minor Corrections
Not every edit has the same importance.
Minor corrections
Minor corrections do not normally change the meaning of the information.
Examples include:
spelling mistakes
punctuation
formatting problems
capitalization
a broken layout
small wording improvements
a typo that does not affect a financial figure, date, result, or instruction
These changes may be fixed directly without a detailed correction notice.
Major corrections
Major corrections change information that could affect a reader’s decision or understanding.
Examples include:
a wrong winning number
an incorrect Prize Bond prize amount
a wrong draw number or date
an incorrect tax rate
a wrong claim rule
incorrect eligibility information
a government rule that has changed
a result incorrectly described as verified
Major corrections receive more attention because they can have practical or financial consequences.
Correction Records and Verification Status
BondResult.com’s Prize Bond database can store an internal correction history for draw records. This helps us track important changes to result data.
The website may also display a Verified status for Prize Bond results that have completed the verification process.
However, we do not currently promise that every public draw page will display the full internal correction history, administrator name, or every correction note. Some correction information is maintained for internal review and auditing.
If a serious error has affected information readers rely on, we may add a visible clarification or correction note where appropriate.
A result that has been corrected may also be reviewed again before its verification status is confirmed.

Updates Are Not Always Corrections
Some changes happen because the underlying information has changed.
For example:
a new Prize Bond tax rate may be announced
a government scheme may receive a new deadline
a BISE result date may be officially revised
a National Savings rule may be updated
In these cases, the earlier information may have been correct at the time it was published. Updating the page to reflect a newer official position is an update, not necessarily a correction.
Where dates, rates, or rules can change, readers should pay attention to the latest available official information.
