Waiting for the AIOU Date Sheet can be stressful, especially when exams are close and you still do not know your paper date. The good news is that Allama Iqbal Open University has now published the Spring 2026 examination date sheets for several program groups.

One thing can easily confuse students: AIOU admissions are currently showing Autumn 2026, but the examinations taking place now belong to Spring 2026. So if you search “AIOU date sheet 2026” or “AIOU paper kab hai,” make sure you are checking the correct semester and program.

The safest method is simple: use the official AIOU Examination Department page rather than an old Facebook post, WhatsApp image, or saved PDF from another semester. As of our latest check, Spring 2026 is the current exam semester shown at the top of the official date-sheet page.

Current AIOU Date Sheet

The current AIOU Date Sheet available from the Examination Department is for Semester Spring 2026. The main Pakistan-based schedule covers Open and Certificate Courses, SSC, HSSC, 14BH, 16BH, 16MT and PGD programs. AIOU has also provided separate Spring 2026 date sheets for international students and for MS, M.Phil and Ph.D face-to-face programs in listed faculties.

For the main Spring 2026 ODL schedule, examinations begin on 1 September 2026 and the published timetable continues through 31 October 2026. The notification states an exam time of 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for these papers. This is especially important because students should follow their actual course code in the official timetable instead of guessing a date from their program name.

For international students in the same broad program group, the official Spring 2026 schedule starts on 14 September 2026 and runs through 31 October 2026.

How to Download AIOU Date Sheet

Downloading the date sheet is quite easy. You do not need to search random websites or type your roll number into an unofficial form.

Go to the official AIOU website and open the Examinations section. Select Date Sheet. You will see semester-wise notices and program groups. Look for Semester Spring 2026, then carefully select the PDF that matches your program.

After opening the PDF, search for your course code. On a computer you can normally use Ctrl + F. On a mobile phone, use the browser or PDF reader’s Find option.

Before saving the file, check three things: the semester, your program category and your course codes. Many students accidentally open an old Autumn timetable because older date sheets remain available further down the same AIOU page.

AIOU Date Sheet by Program

At the time of verification, AIOU officially lists the following Spring 2026 date sheet categories:

If you are studying through distance learning and are unsure about codes such as 14BH or 16BH, the easiest approach is to match the course codes shown in your CMS enrollment and roll number slip with the codes in the official date sheet.

Revised or Updated Date Sheet

As of 14 September 2026, the official AIOU date-sheet page does not label the current Spring 2026 main schedules as “Revised Date Sheet.” They are published as regular Spring 2026 date sheets.

Still, exam schedules can change when AIOU issues a separate postponement or rescheduling notification. The university has used such notifications in previous examination periods when individual papers or examination centres were affected. For that reason, do not rely only on a PDF you downloaded weeks earlier.

Before every paper, check the official Date Sheet page and your latest CMS exam information. A newer notification from the Examination Department should take priority over an older saved schedule.

Exam Date Sheet Not Showing

Sometimes a student opens the AIOU website and says, “Meri date sheet show nahi ho rahi.” Usually this does not immediately mean there is a problem with the admission.

First, check whether AIOU has actually released a date sheet for your semester and program category. Different program groups can be announced separately. Also make sure you are not confusing Autumn 2026 admissions with Spring 2026 examinations.

If your course appears in your enrollment record but is missing from your exam information, contact the Examination Department or your concerned Regional Office instead of following an unofficial timetable.

AIOU says the roll number slip includes important examination information such as the student’s roll number, registration details, examination centre and paper dates. It can also be accessed through the student’s CMS dashboard.
