Islamabad (Monday, December 31, 2018): The Department for Schools Education extended the timeframe for winter holiday owing to extend in cold in Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a ministry of Education notification, the schools throughout Punjab would reopen on January 7th, 2019 that was going to Re-open on 1st of Jan, 2019.
Subsequently, KPK CM Mahmood Khan also enhanced the duration of holidays, with schools to start on 7th of January on next Monday.
Due to the intensity of the cold weather and fog in Punjab, the schools will remain closed for one more week and will reopen on January 7th, 2019. The notification will be issued tomorrow morning. We care for our children & honourable teachers.

No. SO (A-l) 1-31/2008: In partial modification of Notification of even number dated 1« March 2018, Winter Vacation for all Public and Private Educational Institutions in Punjab are hereby extended w.e.f. 1st January to 5th January 2019 due to the prevailing situation of fog and smog & frosty weather in the Province of Punjab.
