Fresh currency notes before Eid-ul-Fitr 2022 Complete Guide

This year again the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is going to provide attractive fresh currency notes on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr between May 02 and May 04, 2022, via selected banks of Pakistan.

The SBP has created a mechanism of SMS service on mobile, through which a National Identity card hold can preregister their notes before the selected dates and provided a code for a specific bank. And then he can get fresh currency notes via designated bank branches in their region.

You have to simply send a message to 8877 along with their CNIC numbers and branch codes of the nearby bank that are announced and can be checked here. See the designated E-branches at the end of this article.

And you will be charged Rs2 plus tax for this text SMS.

You will receive an SMS that will contain a retrieval Code, Local E-Branch Address and last Date of retrieval Code expiry.

You will be directed to bring your Original CNIC with a copy to the respective E-branch of the bank along with the SMS that you received from 8877 services, between specific dates.

The spokesperson of State bank of Pakistan has explained the whole mechanism that will be carried out in 142 cities of Pakistan and about 1700+ branches will provide this service.

After completion of this whole procedure, you will be able to get fresh currency notes from banks. You can get 03 packets of Rs. 10, one packet of Rs. 50 and 1 packet of Rs. 100.
