AIOU has announced the BS Environmental Sciences Admission 2023 for the Autumn semester.
The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is now taking applications for admission to different four-year BS courses for Autumn 2023.
The 2023 admissions are for the four-year BS courses based on FA and FSC qualifications. AIOU has opened admissions in subjects like Farming Technology, Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Teaching Design & Technology, Math, Statistics, and Physics.
The university is also offering a four-year BS program in computer science at its main campus in Islamabad and in selected areas. Students who are still waiting for their FA and FSc results can apply for these courses too.

(FSc Based – Duration 4 Years) The candidates waiting for result of 2nd year can also apply.
Eligibility:
F.Sc (pre-medical or pre-engineering) / DAE or equivalent qualification with minimum of 33% marks is the pre-requisite for admission in BS Environmental Science. Foreign certificate/degree holders will need to produce an equivalence certificate from IBCC.
(BSc Based – Duration 2.5 Years)
Eligibility:
Candidate must have at least 50% marks in BSc/ AD/s (with any two of botany, zoology, chemistry, physics, geography, microbiology, biochemistry, food technology, GIS or geology) from any HEC recognized university.
(ADS Based – Duration 2 Years) For the applicant having ADS in relevant discipline with minimum 60 Credit Hours.
Eligibility:
Students who have completed 60 credit hours of coursework having an Associate degree with major subjects in Biology/environment are eligible to apply for BS Environmental Science 2-year program.
The AIOU is also accepting applications for 2.5-year BS programs based on BSC qualifications. The subjects available for study include Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, and Statistics.
In addition, the university offers two-year BS programs based on ADS. Applicants for this admission must have an ADS in the relevant field with at least 60 credit hours.
